Sustainability
About Featherie
Hi, weâre Featherie.
We make sustainable, high-performance golf attire, so you kick *ss while saving the planet. Hereâs how.
Step 1
Reduce, Reuse, Recycle
Letâs face it. The fashion industry has a major waste problem. Every year, 92 million tons of textile waste is producedââpolluting the oceans and raising our carbon footprint. If we donât turn things around, scientists predict weâll see a 50% increase in carbon emissions over the next 10 years.
Thatâs why weâre finding a better way to make clothes you love⌠that actually last.
At Featherie, all of our clothes are made from recycled materials. Weâre stretching our life cycle (while maintaining quality), and seeing the impact.
By using recycled materials, weâre reducing our carbon emissions by up to 80%. So when you wear Featherie, you can feel the difference. Youâre also choosing expertly designed pieces youâll wear over and over again. Gone are the days of replacing that same polo after every tournament.Â
TLDR: Weâre using cleaner fabrics for a cleaner world.
The Receipts
GRS certified
Weâve tracked and verified that 100% of our pieces are made from recycled materials.
GOTS certified
The leading standard for organic fibers, including ecological and social criteria, backed by an independent certification of our entire textile supply chain.
Recycled nylon
We partner with REPREVEÂŽ to make recycled performance fiber out of plastic bottles.
Using REPREVEÂŽ means our clothes are:
⢠Super resistant to abrasion, pilling and tearing.⢠The softest in the game.
⢠Cool to the touch. REPREVEÂŽ uses chemical-free technology for cooling comfortââperfect for a hard day on the course.
⢠Timeless. Literally. Our fabrics maintain their fit and shape over time, so you can wear your favorite looks forever.
Step 2
Made by Humans, for Humans
Weâre committed to taking care of humansââthe ones who wear our clothes, and make them.
We maintain ethical factory standards, pay fair wages, and only use organic, nontoxic dyes fit for human consumption. Weâve created a strict Code of Conduct to protect our workersââand weâre overachievers, so weâre always looking for ways to improve.
We read the fine print.
For far too long, the fashion industry has used toxic chemicals to cut costs and corners. Thatâs why we care so much about how we make our fabricsââso you can focus on the important things, like perfecting your swing.
TLDR: Human health and safety are at the heart of our production process.

Step 3
The Responsible Route
Youâve got mail!
Weâve made our shipping process greener in three big ways:
1- Secured the (sustainable) bag
Most of our shipments come in biodegradable, poly bags. Theyâre cute and they save the environment. Win-win.
2- Compostable snail mail
We partner with a company that makes recycled and compostable mailers. Old school, meet the new, green wave.
3- Leave no trace packaging
Weâve eliminated tissue paper from our packaging. No frills = no waste. Itâs a small step, but it makes a huge difference.
